– GP with a special interest in hormone therapy

Rebecca is a highly experienced and empathetic doctor who believes that the correct balance of hormones holds the key to a woman’s emotional and physical well-being.

My Philosophy

Having a hormone imbalance is not in the least bit unusual but can be unnerving, especially if there’s no-one experienced to talk to about your concerns or if you feel that you’re ‘on the clock’. Unfortunately adequate time is something most GPs simply don’t have in routine appointments.

The condition is invariably – and simply – treatable, but some things can’t be rushed. You need time to explain, I need time to get to know you and identify exactly what we’re dealing with. Then, with full understanding, I can tailor a dedicated hormone rebalancing treatment specifically to meet your needs. Because, in my experience, there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution.

Jane is an experienced doctor who is passionate about educating, empowering and supporting all women through all stages of their menopause transition.

My Philosophy

As a GP, I have seen the debilitating effects a hormonal imbalance can have on all aspects of a women’s life. With conflicting advice and information from health care professionals, the media and the internet, I think women can often feel lost and confused about the right treatment path for them.   I feel passionate about educating and empowering women with accurate information so that they can make informed decisions, taking control of their health and in doing so improving their quality of life.

At the Women’s hormone clinic, we have the luxury of time to fully explore your symptoms and how they are impacting you.  We can discuss your options and preferences in order to tailor a treatment plan that is right for you.

Dr Melanie Davies

Dr Melanie Davies

– GP with a special interest in hormone therapy

Melanie is a highly experienced GP believes that a holistic approach to hormonal imbalances will not only address immediate symptoms, but promote better long-term health outcomes.

My Philosophy

Whilst working as a GP, I have noticed the need for increased awareness and understanding of the menopause transition amongst my patients. As hormones start to change, the phrase I hear most often is “I just don’t feel like myself”. This can be a hugely challenging and emotive time for women  and can have a detrimental impact on all aspects of their lives.

I have seen first-hand how the correct balance of hormones can not only relieve symptoms and improve a woman’s quality of life, but play a crucial role in optimising their long-term health and wellbeing. I believe that the right evidence-based hormonal support combined with lifestyle advice can help women to regain their sense of themselves, as well setting them on a path to a healthier future,
